An eight-year-old Labrador retriever sniffer dog named ‘Seizer’ of South Western Railway’s Railway Protection Force (RPF) representing the Indian Railway Team won the silver medal with certificate at the All India Police Meet in Madhya Pradesh recently. According to a release issued by SWR, Seizer won silver medal in the explosive category (sniffer) in the event conducted by Madhya Pradesh State Police at Bhopal. In all, 23 States Police teams and five Para Military Force (PMF) teams participated with 80 dogs. While Seizer stood second, the gold and bronze medals were won by sniffer dogs belonging to Maharashtra State Police and Madhya Pradesh State Police respectively. Seizer is trained by V. Sasi, constable of RPF Dog Squad of Bangalore Division of South Western Railway, under the supervision of RPF Sub Inspector K.K. George, the release added. | ||
