The long-pending proposals on the construction of railway overbridges (ROBs) at the manned level-crossings on the Old Pune–Bangalore road and the Kapileshwar Temple road here will commence shortly, Suresh C. Angadi, MP, has said.He said here on Thursday that the two overbridges would be constructed at the cost of Rs. 3.95 crore each.He said the Deputy Chief Engineer, South Western Railway, Hubli, T. Venkateswara Rao, confirmed that the work order had been issued. The contractors had to complete the work in six months, he said. Mr. Rao said the contractor would start work on the railway level crossing gate No. 388 (old PB road).
