AHMEDABAD: It was an unusual site to see two lone goods train bogies lying orphaned on a railway track. The issue was serious as another train was on its way on the same track. The incident happened on the Kudsath-Sayna stretch of the railway line around 5 pm on Monday.

The boggies included that of the guard and the adjoining goods bogie attached to the guards cabin.

Railway officials claim that a passenger train was supposed to pass through the same track.

"The guards had immediately informed the nearest railway incharge and the driver through wireless which helped avert any danger," claims a senior railway official.
