Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Sunday condemned the imposition of service tax on railway freight and demanded that the Centre withdraw it immediately.In a statement here Ms. Jayalalithaa said, “Though the Centre had put the move on hold until an important ally withdrew from the government, it has come forward to implement it thinking that the present allies would not oppose. It is gross injustice to poor and middle class people.”
