Chandigarh:Hundreds of commuters traveling by a special winter train from Ramnagar to Chandigarh were today inconvenienced due to the delay in the arrival of the train at the Chandigarh railway station by about three hours. Railway officials said the train was delayed as no platform was vacant at the station and it had to be stationed for half an hour on the Ghaghar over bridge. This special winter train was recently introduced by the Railways.The train, which was supposed to arrive at the station at 1:30 pm reached there at 4:22 pm.A passenger, Rasha Ahmedh, said it seemed that the railway authorities were punishing the commuters for utilising their services as the train, which was supposed to reach the afternoon reached in the evening. According to the schedule, the trips of this special train are on November 19, 20, 26 and 27 from the city.
