About 70 people, including school students, were arrested when they tried to stage a rail roko at Kuzuthurai railway station on Saturday. According to police, more than 300 families belonging to Kaniyan community are living in Kalkulam and Vilavancode taluks. They are asking the Government to include them in the schedule tribe category. To highlight their demand, they attempted to stage the rail roko. | ||
