Over 1,000 children were administered polio vaccine during the nationwide intensified pulse polio immunisation programme on Sunday.The programme was inaugurated at the Southern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation Matriculation School here by Shafali Rastogi, its president. Pulse polio booths were operated at the railway hospital and Old Railway Colony. Two booths functioned at the railway junction in association with the Madurai Corporation. | ||
