Madhuresh Kumar has taken over as General Manager of East Central Railway on Thursday. Prior to this, he was the Principal Chief Engineer of Northern Railway. Kumar is credited to have commissioned 200 km of new railway line projects in East Central Railway during his earlier tenure as Chief Administrative Officer (Construction).A 1976 batch officer from the Indian Railway Service of Engineers, Kumar was Divisional Railway Manager of the Jhansi division of North Central Railway.He has also served as General Manager (Operations) and Chief Engineer (Planning & Design) with the Delhi Metro. | ||
