The weekly special Express train between Visakhapatnam-Kollam-Visakhapatnam is being extended as a bi-weekly special Express train to clear the extra rush of passengers till January 14. Train no. 08569 Visakhapatnam – Kollam Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 9 a.m. on Sundays and Thursdays from December 23 to January 13, 2013 and train no. 08570 Kollam – Visakhapatnam will leave Kollam at 7:20 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays from December 24 to January 14. The trains will have stops at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Vijayawada, Tirupathi, Katpadi, Jolarpetai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ernakulam Town and Kottayam in both directions, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway M. Yelvender Yadav. Passengers have been asked to make use of the extended special express train service. | ||
