An Express train that never arrives on time

If there are records to be made about the most delayed Train service in the world then definitely there would be trains from Indian Railways. This seems to be even more true if we consider the current scenario of punctuality of most Indian trains. Rarely do we hear that a certain train Has arrived on time at its destination. However we don't know about such Records but what we do know Is that there is one Express train that has never arrived on time at its destination this year. You may say that currently  Indian Railways is facing some serious operational issues due to which such a bad record could have been formed but the scenario of late arrival Of this express train is not just about this year but also the scenario was exactly the same last year too.

Enough of introduction, Now let's reveal the name of the This train - "SeemaAanchal express"

This train runs between Anand Vihar terminal of Delhi to Jogbani. This train covers a total distane of 1380 kms from Delhi to Jogbani or Vice versa. As far as Total number of stoppages are concerned - there are in total of 17 stoppages in between. 

When runningstatus.in analysed the data of all trains relating to their punctuality, it came out that this train has not arrived even once in the last 310 days of run between Anand Vihar terminal and Jogbani.

Lets keep the data first -

Train number 12488 Delhi Anand Vihar Terminal - Jogbani Superfast Seemanchal Express never arrived its destination on time even once. What is even more ashtonishing is its average late time which is 535 minutes that makes about 9 hours late. This has also resulted in cancellation of this train on various occasions.

Similarly in the other direction train number 12487 Jogbani - Delhi Anand Vihar Terminal Seemanchal Express too never arrived on time throuout the year with an average late running time of 483 minutes or about 8 hours.

This state of impunctuality is deep rooted in this train as further digging revealed that last year too Train number 12488 Delhi Anand Vihar Terminal - Jogbani Superfast Seemanchal Express arrived on time at only 13 occassions  with an average late running of about whopping 11 hours.

SImilarly, train number 12487 Jogbani - Delhi Anand Vihar Terminal Seemanchal Express arrived on time on just 13 occassions with an average late running time of 8 hours 30 minutes.

With such mind shattering impuntuality, Seemanchal Express has become one of the worst trains of Indian Railways in terms of Punctuality. Beware from this train!
