Title - “AKSHAYA” Employees Lounge Inaugurated at South Central Railway headquarters

As part of the employee welfare initiatives, renovation of Headquarters Employees Canteen at Rail Nilayam was done. After the renovation work it is now termed as “AKSHAYA” - Employees Lounge. The entire ambiance of the lounge has been refurbished and old furnitures and cook ware is replaced with new ones. Modern gadgets are installed to take care of hygiene and cleanliness.

Automatic dish washing machine is installed and supply of clean drinking water is taken care of with the installation of RO water filter. POS machines and Smart Card kiosks have been established. This has made the Staff Canteen of Rail Nilayam, unique among the Railway Canteens o­n Indian Railways.
