Title - ‘Train stoppage needed’

Former MP K. Kandasamy has requested that train number 11064 Salem - Chennai Express and train number 11063 Chennai – Salem Express should stop at Ayothiyapattinam, Valapadi, Yethapur and Chinna Salem. In a letter to the Southern Railway General Manager, Mr. Kandasamy said that currently both the trains stop at these places. But the railways had recently announced that these trains would not stop at these places from October 1. “Thousands of passengers in these areas travel by these train every day and hence the trains should continue stopping at these places,” he added. – Staf
