Title - ‘MENU ON RAILS’ App launched

A new App ‘Menu o­n Rails’, developed by IRCTC has been launched for the items served to them on their Rail Journey. Salient features of the Mobile APP are as under:

  • This App displays menu of food items served on all type of trains.
  • Food items are covered in 4 categories for mail / express trains.
  • 4 categories of food items served on mail express trains are - Breakfast, Meals, A-La-Carte, Beverages.
  • This app will let you know the actual rates fixed by IRCTC of all the food items.
  • List of 96 items will be displayed in A-La-Carte.
  • Mobile App also displays the menu to be served in Rajdhani/ Shatabdi/ Duronto trains
  • Pre Booked food items are displayed separately for EC and CC classes in case of Shatabdi trains and 1A, 2A and 3A classes for Rajdhani and Duronto trains. 
  • In case of Duronto trains, food items for Sleeper class are also displayed.
  • Gatiman and Tejas train's food items are also displayed.
  • Food item rates displayed are inclusive of taxes.
  • Mobile App is available on both iOS and Android.
