Title - Vasco da Gama Patna express derailed near Chitrakoot Uttar Pradesh 3 dead and several injured

Uttar Pradesh is becoming a Railway accident state of India. In an another train accident, at least 9 passengers were left injured and 3 dead near Manikpur railway station in Chitrakoot.

 Vasco da Gama Patna express derailed near Manikpur railway station after it left Manikpur at 4:18 A.M. The express train was going towards Patna. This accident occurred in less than 12 hours after a collision of Bolero Jeep with passenger train near Lucknow. In that accident four people were killed and other two were injured.

As it happens after every accident, an enquiry has been ordered by railway minister and monetary compensation were announced. Dead will get rupees 5 lakh while grievously injured will get 100000 and passengers with normal injury will get 50000 rupees.

Rescue and relief operations are going on at Manikpur with supritendent of police present there. On the spot investigation reveals that fractured railway track could be the culprit of derailment. Meanwhile train movement over Patna Allahabad route has been disrupted.
