Title - UTS App to be introduced for non - suburban stations on September 17

Western Railway will introduce UTS o­n mobile app for non-suburban stations on September 17. An awareness drive was also conducted at 17 important suburban stations to switch over to non-cash ticketing through UTS system. These are the some of the salient features of this UTS app - 

  • Available on all three major operating system – Android, i-OS or Windows app store free of cost. 
  • Simplified App with ‘Quick booking’ option. 
  •  All unreserved and season tickets can be booked. 
  • Options for both paperless and paper ticket (through ATVM or booking window) available. 
  • QR code scan option for booking tickets in station premises  
  • Dedicated Customer Care o­n no.138. 
  • Ticket payments can be easily made through inbuilt “R-Wallet” or through Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge. 
  • Avail 9.5% extra travel value o­n every recharge in R-wallet.
