Title - Trains cancelled and diverted in Dhanbad - Chandrapura segment

19 trains are cancelled and seven other trains are diverted by Railway Board due to emergence of fire near tracks in Dhanbad and Chandrapura segment. Fire has made this section unsafe for operation of trains. From 15 June onwards railway line in Jharkhand is being closed down due to underground fire in mines. 

Apart from this railway board has also suspended goods train movement including loading of coal at nine sidings between Dhanbad and Chandrapura. Due to proximity to the Jahria mines fire railway board declared the Chandrapura Railway line unsafe on June 10.

According to DGMS reports, 14 km out of 34 km long track are in the area affected by the mine fire.
