LUCKNOW: Movement of trains is likely to remain affected between Burhwal and Jahangirabad stations due to non-interlocking from May 29 to June 2. The passenger trains between Lucknow Jn and Gonda, Gonda and Sitapur Cantt, Burhwal-Sitapur Cantt, Burhwal-Sitapur City, Gonda-Sitapur Cantt-Gonda and Sitapur City-Gonda has been cancelled. Similarly, Gorakhpur-Lucknow Jn intercity remains cancelled on June 1. The trains which will be diverted include 15609 Guwahati-Lalgarh Awadh Assam Express, 12203 Saharsa-Amritsar Garibrath Express and 12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Bihar Sampark Kranti Express. The trains will run via Gorakhpur-Mankapur-Ayodhya-Faizabad-Barabanki instead of Gorakhpur-Mankapur-Gonda-Barabanki.Train 12554 New Delhi-Barauni Vaishali Express will run via Barabanki-Faizabad-Ayodhya-Mankapur-Gorakhpur instead of Barabanki-Gonda-Mankapur-Gorakhpur. In order to make it easy for passengers, train 12554 will be given an additional stoppage of two minutes at Mankapur on June 1.Besides, on June 1, train number 15204, Lucknow Jn-Barauni Express, which originates from Lucknow Jn, will originate from Gonda and remain cancelled between Lucknow Jn-Gonda. Similarly, on May 31, train number 05639 Guwahati-Lucknow Jn summer special will terminate at Gonda and remain cancelled at Gonda-Lucknow Jn. On June 1, 05640 Guwahati-Lucknow Jn summer special will originate at Gonda and remain cancelled between Lucknow Jn-Gonda. Several passenger trains will also be short-terminated. |
