Title - Train trial run successful between Andaura - Daulatpur Chowk in Himanchal Pradesh

A successful trial was completed by the Railway Safety Board on the 16 km broad gauge section from Amb-Andaura to Daulatpur Chowk in Una district. Chief Commissioner of Ralways Safety Board has also issued certificate of safety for this track and now passenger trains can be run on this route.

It must be noted that Daultpur Chowk is the last station in Himanchal Pradesh. Besides the completion of this 16km broad gauge railway track, work on thhe 83.7 km long Nangal - Talwara broad gauge line is still in progress.
