Title - TRAIN SERVICES TO BE DIVERTED, SHORT TERMINATED AND CANCELLED FOR MODERNISATION WORK AT SANTRAGACHHI

In a view to facilitate smooth and better movement of trains, Railways have taken Non-Inter locking work in connection with commissioning of Route Relay Interlocking (RRI) at Santragachhi Station under South Eastern Railway including other modernization work from 22nd March to 25th March’2013. As a result, some of the south bound trains including Odisha & Visakhapatnam and passing through East Coast Railway jurisdiction will be Diverted, Short Terminated and Cancelled during the period.

DIVERTION:

        18048 Vasco-da-gama-Howrah Amaravati Express scheduled to leave Vasco-da-gama o­n 22nd March will be diverted to Shalimar from Santragachhi instead of Howrah.

        18047 Howrah-Vasco-da-gama Amaravati Express scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 23rd March 2013 will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah.

        22831 Satyasai Prashanti Nilayam (SSPN)-Howrah express scheduled to leave SSPN o­n 22nd March 2013 will be diverted to Shalimar instead of Howrah o­n 23rd March 2013 from Santragachhi.

        12509 Bangalore-Guwahati Express scheduled to leave Bangalore o­n 22nd March 2013 and 15643 Puri-Kamakhya Express scheduled to leave Puri o­n 23rd March 2013 will be diverted via Hijli-Gokulpur-Adra & Asansol without touching Kharagpur.

        Similarly, 15902 Dibrugarh Town-Yesvantpur Express scheduled to leave Dibrugarh o­n 22nd March 2013 and 12253 Yesvantpur-Bhagalpur Express scheduled to leave Yesvantpur o­n 23rd March 2013 will be diverted via Hijli-Gokulpur-Adra & Asansol without touching Kharagpur.

SHORT TERMINATION

58002 Puri-Santragachhi Express scheduled to leave Puri o­n 22nd & 23rd March will be short terminated at Kharagpur and will remain cancelled between Kharagpur and Howrah.

58001 Howrah-Puri Express scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 23rd & 24th March 2013 will originate from Kharagpur to Puri instead of Howrah. This train will remain cancelled between Kharagpur & Howrah.

58003 Howrah-Bhadrak passenger scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 23rd & 24th March 2013 will originate from Kharagpur to Bhadrak instead of Howrah. This train will remain cancelled between Kharagpur & Howrah.

58004 Bhadrak-Howrah passenger scheduled to leave Bhadrak o­n 23rd & 24th March 2013 will be short terminated at Kharagpur and will remain cancelled between Kharagpur & Howrah.

12872/12871 Titlagarh-Howrah-Titlagarh Express will be short-terminated at Chakradharpur and will return back to Titlagarh o­n 23rd and 24th March 2013. These trains will be remain cancelled between Chakradharpur and Howrah o­n both days.

18006 Jagdalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express scheduled to leave Jagdalpur o­n 23rd March will be short terminated at Kharagpur o­n 24th March 2013. 18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 24th March 2013 will originate from Kharagpur instead of Howrah and will remain cancelled from both the directions between Kharagpur and Howrah.

CANCELLATION:

12838/12837 Puri-Howrah-Puri Express scheduled to leave Puri o­n 23rd March and from Howrah o­n 24th March will remain cancelled.

12864/12863 Yesvantpur-Howrah-Yesvantpur Express scheduled to leave Yesvantpur o­n 22nd March and from Howrah o­n 24th March will remain cancelled.

12664/12663 Tiruchirapalli-Howrah-Tiruchirapalli Express scheduled to leave Tiruchirapalli o­n 22nd March and from Howrah o­n 24th March will remain cancelled.

12867/12868 Howrah-Pondechery-Howrah Express scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 24th March and from Pondechery o­n 27th March will remain cancelled.

12842/12841 Chennai-Howrah-Chennai Coromandal Express scheduled to leave Chennai o­n 23rd March and from Howrah o­n 24th March will remain cancelled.

12840/12839 Chennai-Howrah-Chennai Mail scheduled to leave Chennai o­n 22nd March and from Howrah o­n 24th March will remain cancelled.
