Title - Train services in South Kashmir resumed

From Badgam - Srinagar to Banihal in Jammu region train services has been resumed via South Kashmir. However in north Kashmir due to security reasons trains services will remain suspended. 

”We have resumed normal train service on Badgam-Srinagar in the central Kashmir to Anantnag-Qazigund in south to Banihal in Jammu region,” a senior railway official said this morning.

However, he said, today trains will not chug on Badgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in north for security reasons.

Massive damage was suffered by Indian Railways after which train services were suspended for six months. However when train services were on, daily travellers always preferred trains services because they are one of the most dependable means of transport.
