Title - Train service of Express train between Chennai Egmore and Salem interrupted

To facilitate engineering works for construction of Subway to eliminate level crossing between Omalur – Mecheri Road in Salem – Metur Dam section, Southern railway has imposed rail line block due to which changes will be made in pattern of train services as per details -

• The slip coaches of train number 11063 Chennai Egmore – Salem Express that run upto Metur Dam will be partially cancelled between Salem – Metur Dam on January 30.
• The slip coaches of train number 11064 Salem – Chennai Egmore Express that run from Metur Dam will be partially cancelled between Metur Dam – Salem on January 31.
