Title - Train accident: probe clears railway staff

The Commissioner of Railway Safety, South Central circle, Dinesh Kumar Singh, has said that the train accident on February 24 in which two railway staff were killed was due to ‘failure of persons other than the railway staff'. He made this observation in his statutory inquiry report. Two staff members were killed in an accident involving the collision of Tirupati-Machilipatnam Narsapur express with a tractor trailer between Rachagunneri and Srikalahasti. The report proposed a campaign to check plying of overloaded vehicles at unmanned level crossings.
