Title - Tirupati-Mannargudi-Tirupati Tri-Weekly Express to be introduced

Hyderabad, June 30 (INN): The South Central Railway on Saturday stated that the Tirupati-Mannargudi Tri-weekly Express, which was announced in the current Railway Budget, would be inaugurated on July 3 from Tirupati.

In a statement, the SCR said the regular run of the train would commence on July 4 from Mannargudi and on July 5 from Tirupati. Accordingly on its regular run, Train no 17408 Mannargudi-Tirupati Tri-weekly Express will depart Mannargudi at 05 30 hrs on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and arrive Tirupati at 16 35 hrs on the same day. In the return direction the Train 17407 Tirupati-Mannargudi tri-weekly express will depart Tirupati at 10 40 hrs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive Mannargudi at 22 35 hrs on the same day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Pakala, Chittoor, Katpadi, Vellore Cant., Arni Road, Tiruvannamalai, Tirukkovilur, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladudurai, Perlam, Thiruvaur and Nidamangalam.

The timings of these trains are incorporated in the Southern Zone Railway Time Table-July 2012 issue, the statement said.

The statement also said Jaipur-Secunderabad-Jaipur bi-weekly Special trains extended for two more trips. Train No 09736 / 09735 Jaipur-Secunderabad-Jaipur Bi-weekly Express will be extended to run for two more trips to its existing timings, stoppages and days of service.
