Title - Tiruchi - Thanjavur second line ready

Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, Bengaluru gave the statutory clearance to second rail line between  Golden Rock, Tiruchi and Thanjavur.

After carrying out the mandatory inspection of this 28 km long stretch from Solagampatti to Thanjavur Junction, the line was declared fit. This stretch also forms a part of 48 km long doubling project from Golden Rock to Thanjavur. The inspection concluded with a high speed trial run by the CRS on a board a special train. According to sources there will be no delay in setting second railway line operational.
