Title - Tiruchchirappalli – Tirunelveli - Tiruchchirappalli Intercity Express extended to Thiruvananthapuram Central

For passenger convenience Southern Railways has decided to extend Tiruchchirappalli – Tirunelveli - Tiruchchirappalli Intercity Express to Thiruvananthapuram Central. This decision will be effective from July 15.

The extension of Intercity Express was announced by Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu while participating in a function organised by Railways in Tiruchirapalli on Saturday to commission new projects.

From July 15, 22627 Tiruchirapalli-Tirunelveli-Thiruvananthapuram Intercity Express will depart from Tiruchirapalli at 7.05 a.m. to reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 3.35 p.m.

In the opposite direction, 22628 Thiruvananthapuram -Tirunelveli-Thiruchirapalli-Intercity Express will depart from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 11.55 a.m. to reach Tiruchirapalli at 8.15 p.m.

• Second class chair car – 7
• General second class – 8
