Most of the ticket counters of all major cities where there is heavy traffic of passengers like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangaluru etc. passengers are being denied tickets due to unavailability of smaller currency notes. Government announced that railway counters will continue accepting old 1000 and 500 rupee notes till November 11.
