Title - Ticket checking drive by eastern railways

As a result of the massive ticket checking drive conducted by Eastern Railway all over its jurisdiction from  12 May to 25 May, 2017, altogether 89,501 persons were detected travelling without or with improper ticket and carrying unbooked luggage and an amount of Rs.1,88,41,570 /- was realised from those offenders.

Eastern railway further notifies that its officials will continue such vigorous drives against ticketless travelling and carrying of unbooked luggage.
