PUNE: The Central Railway (Pune division) will introduce some changes in the timings of a few local trains from Saturday for three months. The administration has added two services on the Pune-Lonavla route by tweaking the time table. At present, there are 42 train services which will be increased to 44.Two trains will originate from Shivajinagar and run up to Talegaon. One train will run between Shivajinagar and Lonavla. All three services will start from Saturday.An official said it was for the first time that trains were being introduced from Shivajinagar. The time table of the new trains will be displayed at all stations for passengers, he added. Of the new local trains, the one to Talegaon will leave Shivajinagar at 10.50 am and reach Talegaon at 12.05 pm. Another local for Talegaon will leave from Shivajinagar at 1.20 pm and reach Talegaon at 2.05 pm. The train for Lonavla will leave from Shivajinagar at 7.35 pm and reach Lonavla at 9.05 pm. On the return journey, a train from Talegaon will leave at 9.57 am and reach Shivajinagar at 10.40 am, another train will leave at 12.25 pm and reach Shivajinagar at 1.12 pm. The local train from Lonavla will leave at 6.20 pm and reach Shivajinagar at 7.30 pm.The trains will halt at all stations between Shivajinagar and Talegaon. The timings have been planned considering the load factor in the morning and evening hours. The existing daily local trains will run as per their stipulated schedules. |
