Title - TAMIL NADU : Intercepted

Vadakkipalayam police intercepted Manikandan (48) of Azhagusolaipudur in Madurai near Nanjegoundenpudur in Pollachi and found him in possession of gelatine and detonators. Working in railway line gauge conversion project, the man had allegedly taken the explosives to sell them off, as the contractor was reportedly not paying wages properly. Police visited the project site and found a huge stock of explosives meant for blasting rocks.
