Title - Survey Report card for Tejas Express

Tejas Express started with much fanfare for passengers with state of art facilities on Mumbai – Karmali route from May 22. The aim of Indian Railways is to provide a luxurious high speed travelling experience to passengers.

Commuter feedback data from 243 passengers on May 27 and 28 revealed a high level of satisfaction across all categories of services. Let us see categorical feedback below –

  • 47 out of 243 passengers described entertainment services as average. Many passengers also rated `excellent' and `very good'.
  • 33 people billed catering services as average.
  • Washroom services were appreciated but most people suggested regular cleaning.
  • Automatic door closure was an issue for which regular announcements were made so that no passenger get stranded.
  • Many passengers demand to cut travel time and wants the train to depart half an hour late from its current schedule time of 5:00AM so that passengers can come to Dadar by local train.
