Title - SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN METTUPALAYAM AND COONOOR * LINE BLOCK

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN METTUPALAYAM AND COONOOR
The following special trains will be run between Mettupalayam and Coonoor to clear the extra rush of passengers.
T.No.06135 Mettupalayam – Coonoor Special will leave Mettupalayam at09.00 hrs. on Saturdays and Sundays from 21.4.2012 to 10.6.2012 and arrive Coonoor at 12.20 hrs. the same day. T.No.06136 Coonoor – Mettupalayam Special will leave Coonoor at 13.30 hrs. on Saturdays and Sundays from 21.4.2012 to 10.6.2012 and arrive Mettupalayam at 15.50 hrs. the same day.The composition of the trains will be1 First Class Sitting, 1 Second Class Sitting/General Second Class and 1 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 20.4.2012.

LINE BLOCK

Due to line block in connection with doubling of track between Melmaruvathur and Madurantakam between 12.00 – 14.00 hrs. and 14.30 – 15.30 hrs. on 19.4.2012, following changes will be made in the train services on this section.

1) T.No.12636 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express leaving Madurai at 06.45 hrs. will be delayed by 30 minutes between Thozhuppedu and Chengalpattu.
2) T.No.12635 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Vaigai Express leaving Chennai Egmore at 12.45 hrs. will be delayed by 30 minutes between Chengalpattu and Thozhuppedu.
3) T.No.66046 Villupuram – Melmaruvathur Passenger will be regulated at Thozhuppedu for 20 minutes.
4) T.No.66041 Melmaruvathur – Chennai Beach Passenger will leave late by20 minutes.
5) T.No.66017 Chennai Beach – Vellore Passenger will leave late by 20 minutes.
