Title - Successful Trials on Janakpur - Jayanagar railway line between India and Nepal

The only linking India - Nepal railway line Janakpur - Jaynagar underwent a successful test operation towards Indian side in August 2018. Authorities say that India performed test operation so that it could bring Nepal's only railway back to some action. From the last 4 years, train services has remained standstill.

In this connection, Nepal Railway Campaigner Binod Ojha shared that the Indian side has successfully tested the operation of 8.5-km long railway engine with 53 bogies from Jayanagar Railway station of Samastipur Railway division on ECR to Khajuri Railway Station in Nepal.
