जयपुर.जयपुर मेट्रो रेल के मानसरोवर डिपो के लिए पटरियां जयपुर पहुंच गई हैं। ये पटरियां यहां डिपो में 16 किमी दूरी में बिछाई जाएंगी। इस काम में करीब दो माह लगेंगे। ये पटरियां स्टील अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया लिमिटेड से खरीदी गई हैं।

जयपुर मेट्रो के पहले चरण में मानसरोवर से चांदपोल तक ट्रैक बिछाने का काम चल रहा है, जहां 9 किलोमीटर में डबल ट्रैक पर करीब 18 किलोमीटर दूरी में पटरियां बिछाई जाएंगी। इससे पहले डिपो में पटरियां बिछाने का काम पूरा होना है। डिपो में संपूर्ण मेट्रो ट्रेनों की मेंटीनेंस, सफाई-धुलाई, मरम्मत समेत सभी अन्य काम होंगे। रात्रि में सभी ट्रेनें यहीं खड़ी होंगी। ऐसे में सबसे पहले मानसरोवर डिपो ही बनकर तैयार होगा।

चूंकि ये पटरियां जमीन पर बिछाई जानी हैं, ऐसे में ये उसी प्रकार और उसी क्वालिटी की पटरियां हैं, जैसी रेलवे में उपयोग की जा रही हैं। डिपो का 16 किलोमीटर पर बिछाए जाने का पटरियों का पूरा लॉट आ गया है। अभी डिपो में जमीन को ट्रैकव अन्य कार्यो के लिए तैयार किया जा रहा है। मिट्टी खोदकर उसमें अर्थिग का काम चल रहा है। इसके बाद रोड़ी बिछाने का काम होगा।


गोयल ने काम संभाला

वरिष्ठ आईएएस अधिकारी एन.सी. गोयल ने सोमवार को जयपुर मेट्रो रेल कॉरपोरेशन के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक का कार्यभार संभाल लिया। गोयल इससे पहले दिल्ली में संस्कृति मंत्रालय में संयुक्त सचिव पद पर प्रतिनियुक्ति पर थे।
