Special trains will be run from Velankanni to Mumbai CST to clear passenger rush in view of Velankanni festival. Train No. 06802 Velankanni–Mumbai CST special will leave Velankanni at 8.30 p.m. on September 8 and arrive Mumbai CST at 12.15 p.m. on September 10. The train will have two AC 3-tier, six sleeper class, six general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.The train will stop at Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Mayiladuthurai, Sirkazhi, Chidambaram, Tirupadiripuliyur, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Katpadi, Tiruttani, Puttur, Renigunta, Koduru, Razampet, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Daund, Pune, Kalyan and Dadar.Train No. 06801 Mumbai CST- Chennai Central special will leave Mumbai CST at 1.30 p.m. on September 10 and arrive at Chennai Central at 8.55 p.m., the next day.It will have two AC 3-tier, six sleeper class, six general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Dadar, Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampet, Renigunta, Puttur, Tiruttani, Arakkonam and Perambur.Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on August 12, a Southern Railway press release said. |
