Title - Special trains to Kochuveli

Southern Railway will run weekly express specials (4 days a week) between Bangalore City and Kochuveli from August 31 to September 30 to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Accordingly, Train No 06316 Kochuveli -Bangalore City (4 days a week) Express Special will depart Kochuveli at 9.20 pm on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, from August 31 to Sept 30 and arrive at Bangalore city at 12.45 pm the next day.

En route, the train will arrive/depart at Kollam at 10.20 pm/10.25 pm; Alappuzha at 11.50 pm/11.53 pm; Ernakulam Jn. At 1 am/1.10 am; Thrissur at 2.32 am/2.35 am; Palakkad at 4.05 am/4.10 am; Coimbatore at 5.30 am/5.35 am; Erode at 7.10 am/7.15 am; Salem at 8.07 am/8.10 am; and depart at Jolarpettai “A” Cabin at 10 am.

In the return direction, Train No 06315 Bangalore City-Kochuveli  (4 days a week) will depart Bangalore City at 2.15 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays, from September 1 to October 1 and arrive at Kochuveli at 6.05 am the next day. En route, the train will depart at Jolarpettai “A” Cabin at 4.55 pm arrive/depart at Salem at 6.20 pm/6.25 pm; Erode at 7.30 pm/7.35pm; Coimbatore at 9.10 pm/9.15 pm; Palakkad at 10.35 pm/10.40 pm; Thrissur at 11.47 pm/11.50 pm; Ernakulam Jn. at 1.20 am/1.30 am; Alappuzha at 2.47 am/2.50 am; and arrive/depart at  Kollam at 4.30 am/4.35 am.

Trains to Santragachi

In order to clear extra rush, a special train will be run between Santragachi-Yeshwantpur-Santragachi as detailed below.

Train No 08003 Santragachi-Yeshwantpur Special leaves Santragachi on August 29 at 8.45 am to reach Yeshwantpur at 6 pm on August 30. Train No 08004 Yeshwantpur-Santragachi Special leaves Yeshwantpur on August 31 at 11.55 pm and reaches Santragachi at 1.30 pm September 2.

The train will run from Santragachi via Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vishakapatnam, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Gudur, Katpadi, Jolarpettai and Krishnarajapuram to reach Yeshwantpur, a South Western Railway release said.
