ALLAHABAD: Railways has planned more than 4,000 trips of special trains to clear passenger rush during October and November.The special trains have been planned by all the zonal railways spread across the country over the 35 popular routes. In addition, extra coaches are also being attached to regular trains. Out of the Puja/ Chhath/other special planned trains, most of them are unreserved, 12 are fully air-conditioned and four provided with superfast status.These special trains will connect important cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Jammu Tawi, Jaipur, Guwahati, Lucknow, Patna, Chandigarh, Raxaul, Muzaffarpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Darbhanga, Puri, Indore, Secundrabad etc. The zonal and divisional railways made action plan for the convenience of the passengers during the rush period. |
