Title - Special trains through Salem – Karur sector

To clear the extra rush of passengers, Southern Railway will operate three special trains through Salem – Karur sector.

A release from the railways said that Train No. 06001 Chennai Central – Nagercoil Super Fast Garib Rath Special will leave Chennai Central at 9 p.m. on August 14, Wednesday and arrive Nagercoil at 11 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06002 Nagercoil – Chennai Central Garib Rath Special will leave Nagercoil at 4.30 p.m. on August 15, Thursday and arrive Chennai Central at 8.30 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Gudiyattam, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Rasipuram, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur. Train No.06002 will stop at Perambur also.

Train No. 06348 Nagercoil - Chennai Central Special will leave Nagercoil at 4.30 p.m. on August 18, Sunday and arrive Chennai Central at 8.30 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06347 Chennai Central - Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Central at 11.15 a.m. on August 19, Monday and arrive Nagercoil at 3.15 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Salem, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Gudiyattam, Katpadi and Arakkonam. Train No.06348 will stop at Perambur also.

Train No. 06746 Tirunelveli -Yesvantpur Special will leave Tirunelveli at 8.20 p.m. on August 18, Sunday and arrive Yesvantpur at 8 a.m. the next day. Train No. 06745 Yesvantpur – Tirunelveli Special will leave Yesvantpur at 5 p.m. on August 19, Monday and arrive Tirunelveli at 6 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur and Banaswadi.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence from August 14.
