Tiruchirapalli Railway Division of the Southern Railway will operate DEMU special services in the Tiruchi-Velankanni and Nagapattinam-Velankanni sections from August 29 to September 8, for easing traffic in connection with the annual festival at Basilica of 'Our Lady of Health' at Velankanni.In a press release here today, Divisional Railway P R O M K Gopinath said that the train No. 06803 Tiruchi - Velankanni (daily) DEMU express special would leave Tiruchi junction at 1145 hrs and will reach Velankanni at 1515 hrs.Train No 06804 Velankanni - Tiruchi daily DEMU Express special would leave Velankanni at 1540 hrs and reach Tiruchi Junction at 1935 hrs.Train No 06805 Velankanni-Nagapattinam DEMU passenger special would leave Velankanni at 1230 hrs and arrive at Nagapattinam at 1255 hrs, he added.Train No 06806 Nagapattinam - Velankanni DEMU passenger special would leave Nagapattinam at 1355 hrs and reach Velankanni at 1420 hrs, he said.
