Title - Special trains for Onam festival

The Southern Railways have decided to run two extra trains owing to the enormous crowd during the Onam festival, from Yesvantpur to Ernakulam junction.Train 06543/06544 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Junction – Yesvantpur weekly express will probably include 16 coaches with 3-tier AC coach, one chair car coach, seven unreserved coaches, six sleeper class coaches and two luggage cum brake van coaches.The train will be departing Yesvantpur on August 27 and September 3 at 9.15am and will be arriving at Ernakulam Junction at 9.30pm on the same day. The train will make a halt in the respective stations such as Banaswadi, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur, Aluva and Ernakulam Junction.Train 06549/06550 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Junction – Yesvantpur Garibrath express will include 18 coaches with sixteen 3-tier AC coaches and two luggages cum brake van coaches.On Aug 22 and 29, the train is expected to depart from Yesvantpur at 9 pm and will be reaching Ernakulam junction at 8.10 am the next day. These trains will be making a halt at Banaswadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town and Ernakulam Junction.

No 06549 Ypr – Ekm Special will leave Yesvantpur at 9 am on August 27 and 28 and arrive at Ernakulam at 8.10 am the next day.

No 06550 Ekm -Ypr Special will leave Ernakulam at 3.30 pm on August 28 and 30 and arrive at Yesvantpur at 4.00 am.

No 06515 Ypr- Tirunelveli Special will leave Yesvantpur at 9 pm on Aug 22 and arrive at Tirunelveli at 9.40 am the next day.

No 06516 Tirunelveli- Ypr will leave Tirunelveli at 2.45 pm on August 21 and 23 and arrive at Yesvantpur at 4 am.

The Railways have made these arrangements for the convenience of the passengers in order to make the travel pleasant and comfortable.
