Title - Special train carrying drinking water to reach flood affected areas today

On Friday evening Railway sent a special express train Thiruvananthapuram Central  via  Nagercoil Town, Tirunelveli, Chennai Egmore, Gudur to help passengers stranded in flood affected areas. Today from Pune, another special train carrying drinking water  will be sent for the flood affected residents of Kerala.

14 trains with drinking water are being sent from Pune and nearly 15 rakes of mail will set off from Gujarat's Ratlam today while passenger special train will commence its journey from Ernakulam and will stop at every station till Thiruvananthapuram Central. 

Note that Thiruvananthapuram-Nagercoil-Tirunelvelli trains are operating but Kayakulam-Kottayam-Ernakulam Jn/Ernakulam North train services and Kollam-Punalur-Senkottai train services have been suspended.
