Title - Southern railway to run special trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Southern Railway will run Six special trains between Chennai Central-Shalimar-Chennai Central. According to a press release issued by Southern Railways train No 06029 Chennai Central-Shalimar special train will depart Chennai Central on mondays, October 15,22 and 29 at 00.30 hrs and arrive /depart Vijayawada at 0800/0815 hrs and arrive Shalimar at 0700 hrs on tuesday. Train No 06030 Shalimar-Chennai-Central special train will depart Shalimar on Tuesdays, the October 16, 23 and 30 at 1500 hrs and arrive /depart Vijayawada at 1040/1100 hrs and arrive Chennai Central at 1805 hrs on Wednesdays. Enroute, the special trains will halt at Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubneswar, Cuttack, Jaipur Khenjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur stations in both the directions. The Special train will comprise one first AC, one AC 2 tier, one AC 3 tier, six sleeper class, six second class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches.
