Title - Southern Railway to run special trains for Diwali

CHENNAI, NOV 3:  The Southern Railway will run seven special trains between Chennai and major southern cities to clear the extra rush during Diwali. Advance reservation for the special trains has commenced this morning, says a press release issued by Southern Railways.

The special trains are:

Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Superfast Specials (via Madurai, Tiruchi, Vriddhachalam and Villupuram): T.No.06748 Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Superfast Special will leave Nagercoil at 5 pm on November 11 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 6.05 am the next day. T.No.06747 Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 2.35 pm on November 12 and arrive at Nagercoil at 5.30 am the next day.

Tirunelveli-Chennai Central Weekly Specials (via Tiruchi and Erode): T.No.06750 Tirunelveli-Chennai Central Weekly Special will leave Tirunelveli at 4 pm on November 8 and arrive at Chennai Central at 9.20 am the next day. T.No.06749 Chennai Central-Tirunelveli Superfast Weekly Special will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 pm on November 9 and arrive at Tirunelveli at 2 pm the next day.

Coimbatore-Chennai Central-Coimbatore Superfast Specials: T.No.06618 Coimbatore-Chennai Central Superfast Special will leave Coimbatore at 9.10 pm on November 13 and arrive at Chennai Central at 5.15 am the next day. T.No.06617 Chennai Central-Coimbatore Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 9 pm on November 14 and arrive at Coimbatore at 4.30 pm the next day.

Chennai Central-Coimbatore-Chennai Central Superfast Weekly Specials: T.No.06015 Chennai Central-Coimbatore Superfast Weekly Special will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 pm on November 11 and arrive at Coimbatore at 6.40 am the next day. T.No.06016 Coimbatore-Chennai Central Superfast Weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 11.45 pm on November 12 and arrive at Chennai Central at 7.45 am the next day.

Chennai Central-Nagercoil-Chennai Central Specials (via Chennai Egmore, Villupuram and Vriddhachalam): T.No.06019 Chennai Central-Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Central at 7.30 pm on November 10 and arrive Nagercoil at 11.15 am the next day. T.No.06020 Nagercoil-Chennai Central Special will leave Nagercoil at 1.20 pm on November 11 and arrive at Chennai Central at 5.00 am the next day.

Tiruchi-Chennai Egmore Special (Via Mayiladuthurai and Villupuram): T.No.06802 Tiruchchirappali-Chennai Egmore Special will leave Tiruchi at 7.30 pm on November 12 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 4.20 am the next day. T.No.06801 Chennai Egmore-Tiruchi Superfast Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.45 pm on November 15 and arrive at Tiruchi at 6 am the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Tuticorin Specials (via Villupuram and Mayiladuthurai): T.No.06001 Chennai Egmore-Tuticorin Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.45 pm on November 13 and arrive at Tuticorin at 12.50 pm the next day. T.No.06002 Tuticorin-Chennai Egmore Superfast Special will leave Tuticorin at 6.15 pm on November 14 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 7.20 am the next day.
