Title - South Western Railway to print ticket in Kannada language

Key information on train tickets can now be printed in local language. Indian Railways has allowed printing of key of information in local language. South Western Railway has started printing in local language on unreserved tickets through its UTS system. The facility has been started initially at Mysuru, Bengaluru and Hubballi stations of South Western Railway same will be extended to all other stations of Karnataka in phased manner.
Following key information will be printed in local language on tickets -

Starting station
Mail express or passenger
Class of coach
For the first time in the history of Indian Railways, language other than English and Hindi has been adopted.
