Title - South Eastern Railways conducts 'mock drill' for accident

South Eastern Railway today conducted a 'mock drill' to check the emergency preparedness to deal with train accidents in its divisional headquarters town Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, official sources said.A large number of railway employees, officials, medics and security personnel participated in the drill near an artificially derailed and overturned railway bogey. They rushed the injured dummy passengers to nearby railway hospital.Divisional Railway Manager Rajeev Agrawal told reporters that the rescue team involved in the mock drill used advanced 'cold cutters' to cut the bogeys to bring out trapped dummy passengers without causing any burn injury to them.
