The Railways have rescheduled some trains due to dislocation of a number of long distance Mail/Express trains Howrah – Chennai section due to the recent floods. The following trains are running with the rescheduled timings: Train no.08042 Chennai – Santragachi Express scheduled to leave Chennai Central on November 6 at 11 a.m. was rescheduled to leave Chennai at 3 p.m. on the same day. Train no.12842 Chennai – Howrah Coromandel Express scheduled to leave Chennai on November 6 at 8.45 a.m. was rescheduled to leave at 3.30 p.m. on November 6. Train no.12703 Howrah – Secunderabad Falaknuma Express, scheduled to leave Howrah on November 6 at 7.25 a.m., is rescheduled to leave Howrah at 4.10 p.m. Train no.13352 scheduled to leave Alappuzha at 6.00 a.m. on November 6, is rescheduled to leave Alappuzha at 11 p.m., according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway M. Yelvender Yadav. Train no.18645 Howrah - Hyderabad East Coast Express, scheduled to leave Howrah on November 7, stands cancelled.Meanwhile, track restoration at Boddavara Railway Station on the Kothavalasa – Kirandul line is going on at a hectic pace. The Visakhapatnam – Kirandul Passenger stands cancelled in view of the track restoration work. Divisional Railway Manager Anil Kumar, Additional DRM C. Madhusudhana Rao and other top officials are overseeing the restoration work. |
