Title - Snag disrupts train services

Train service on the Sealdah main line was disrupted for hours on Sunday after a wire snapped between Naihati and Kakinara stations around 9.50pm. The snag occurred when power was being fit to a Sealdah-bound Kalyani local train. Sources said the mechanics forgot to lower the pantograph during the process. The wire therefore got entangled which resulted in the snap. The authorities have decided to run trains between Sealdah and Barrackpore till the problem is fixed.
