Due to heavy rush at Charni Road station due to Ganpati immersion on September 5, it has been decided that all UP fast trains leaving their respective originating station from 05:30PM to 8.30PM on September 5 towards Churchgate, will be provided halt at all stations between Mumbai Central and Churchgate, including Charni Road. Normally, during evening peak hours, these services do not halt between Mumbai Central and Churchgate. However, in order to reduce congestion at platforms, all UP slow line trains, leaving their respective originating station between 05:00PM to 10:00PM in anti peak direction going towards Churchgate will not halt at platform number 2 of Charni Road station. Hence, there will be no train available during this period from Platform number 2 at Charni Road station. |
