Title - Six new passenger amenities inaugurated at various railway stations in Kerala

Indian Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and Chief Minister of Kerala Shri Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated six passenger amenities at Trivandrum Railway station. Apart from Trivandrum facilities at Kollam, Ernakulam and Kannur railway station were inaugurated through video conferencing. Facilities that were inaugurated and handed over to passengers for use are –

  • Dedication of women facilitation at Thiruvananthpuram central
  • Wifi at Kollam Railway station
  • New LED train information display at Kollam railway station
  • Renovated Ladies waiting Hall at Kollam Railway station
  • Escalator at Kannur Railway station
  • Paid AC waiting hall
