Title - Shirts waved to save train

Burdwan : Three youths of a Burdwan village today stopped an express train by waving their shirts after spotting a crack on the tracks.According to Dipu Basak, a farmer from Roynagar, three youths were waving their shirts and shouting to stop the Ballia Express.The engine stopped inches from the crack. The three youths were Shibshankar Chowdhury, Babu Das and Hiran Hajra.
S. Choudhury, the transportation inspector of railways in Burdwan, said: "A possible accident was averted."Burdwan station manager Asim Roy said: "The driver had already spotted the crack. I have not heard anything about the three youths stopping the train."
