Title - SER GM holds review meeting on ongoing projects

South Eastern Railway's General Manager A K Verma today reviewed various ongoing projects with the heads of departments and emphasised the need for completion of these on schedule. Among the major works in West Bengal reviewed were Rainagar- Mathnasipur- Masagram ; Kharagpur -Gokulpur via Giri Maidan; Tikiapara - Santragachi 4th line ; Panskura - Kharagpur 3rd line ; Rajgoda - Tamluk double line; Tamluk-Basulya Sutahata new line among others. Besides work in Jharkhand and Odisha like Banspani-Jaroli double line, Barbil-Barajamda double line, Dumetra-Champajharan double line, Rajkharswan- Sini 3rd line were also discussed.

Mr Verma also inquired about the DMU factory at Haldia, mid-life rehabilitation workshop at Anara, centre for wagon prototyping at Kharagpur, advanced loco pilot training centre at Kharagpur and wagon component factory at Jellingham. He also directed the concerned officers to liaison with the agencies which are executing some of the projects in SER (Rail Vikas Nigam Limited ; Workshop Project Organization/Patna ; Metro Railway).
